TEMPORARY CLOSURES

Pink Lift closure

The Museum's Pink lift is currently out of use awaiting maintenance work.
If your require step-free access to our Modern Art Gallery 62, speak to a member of staff who can assist you.

Please use the Blue or Yellow lifts for step-free access to other levels. Check the Museum floor plan for locations.

West Meets East Gallery closure 19–20 May

The West Meets East Gallery 35 on floor 2 will close from Mon 19 May – Tue 20 May (inclusive) for a major rehang of artworks.

Café early closure – 21 May

The Cafe on the lower ground floor will close at 4pm on Wed 21 May for a private event.

Baroque Gallery closure – 21 May

The Baroque Gallery 46 on floor 2 will close for the day on Wed 21 May for a rehang of one of the walls.

Rome Gallery Closure Nov 2024 – end May 2025

The Rome Gallery, gallery 13 on the ground floor, will be closing for major refurbishment from 4 Nov 2024, reopening in spring 2025.

Cast Gallery Closure Nov 2024 – end May 2025

Due to the major refurbishment for the adjacent Rome Gallery 13, the Cast Gallery will also close from 4 Nov and reopen in spring 2025.
